Today blog post will be a little bit shorter than usual, mostly because we worked alot the past week.
Luckily my prediction was wrong and I mostly got to work with my baby cows rather than go to the factory.
I used a fairly simple trick, I knew before hand that certain individuals would not go to work there although they were assigned to,
so I asked to be contacted in case someone didn't show up, and sure enough this got me out of three days of boring factory work.
There are two major differences between the two jobs, besides one being more fun than the other.
When I work with the cows I feel useful because I can see what I are doing and for what, and secondly I actually learn something too.
It also seems like Avnar (the man whos name I believed to be Avdir is actually called Avnar) appreciates having people around to whom he doesn't need to explain what to do, also he is a great guy and a good boss.
On Tuesday we did not work we went up to the Golan heights. This time we didn't hike, we took a ski lift, only we didn't go there to ski as there is no snow there at this time of year anyway, we went there to get a great view over northern Israel and south Lebanon and i guess so that we get an idea of how important the golan heights are. although there was no snow up there, it was fairly cold on the upside the air was real great.
From there we went to a bowling alley and an ice skating ring. Obviously I did not go on the Ice!
all in all a fun trip.
Shabbat we spent in a settlement inside the disputed territories aka west bank.
We were divided into host family, most of whom were Americans from what i could tell.
My family was really nice and great hosts, but there is nothing much to say about the sabbat
well that's it for this week,
I will try to make the next one longer and more interesting and to take more pictures!

Mein Heutiger Beitrag wird leider etwas kürzer als normal, das liegt zum teil da ran dass ich
die Woche über viel gearbeitet habe. Zum Gluck lag ich mit meiner anfänglich vorhersage falsch und ich konnte die meiste zeit bei den Kälbern arbeiten.
Der trick war eigentlich ganz einfach: ich wusste von vorn herein das es einige Individuen gab die nicht zur Arbeit gehen würden, also habe ich mich als ersatz kraft eintragen lassen und konnte so immer wieder zu meinen Kälbern gehen (Leider sind diese Individuen teil eines anderen programs und nicht mehr im Kibbutz ). Im gegen satzt zur Fabrik Arbeit habe ich hier nicht nur Spaß sondern habe auch das Gefühl was brauchbares zumachen und was dabei zu lernen.
Außerdem hab ich das gefühlt dass Avnar (Avnar heißt nicht Avdir) hat es auch gerne wenn er nicht jeden Tag erklären muss was die Leute zu tun haben. Übrigen muss ich sagen er ist ein sehr netter Mensch und ein super chef.
Am Dienstag mussten wir nicht arbeiten, stattdessen sind wir auf die Golan Höhen gefahren. Diese mal sind wir nicht zur spitze gewandert sonder mit dem ski lift gefahren, nicht um ski zu fahren (da um diese Jahreszeit liegt da kein Schnee) sondern um die Aussicht zu genießen und wahrscheinlich um die Wichtigkeit der Golan Höhen zu unterstreichen. Von dort sind bowlen uns Schlittschuh laufen gefahren, ich bin natürlich nicht aus Eis gegangen. Alles in allem ein schöner kleiner Ausflug
Über Schabbat waren wir in einer Siedlung den umstritten Gebieten, dort wurden wir Gast Familien zu geteil.
Ich habe eine sehr nette Familie abbekommen die wie die meisten dort amerikanischer Herkunft waren.
Mehr habe ich diese Woche diese Woche nicht zu berichten.
Ich werde mich bemühen den nächsten Eintrag länger interessanter und mit mehr Bildern zu gestalten
